1.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
This is the process of infusing pigment into the skin via a hand held tool to create the appearance of realistic hair strokes. It is considered a semi-permanent tattoo because typically it will fade over time. It is recommended to receive an annual touch-up to keep the brow looking precise. Microblading looks most natural on those who already have semi-full brows and want to make them look a little fuller and/or bolder. Microblading works best on young, healthy, and dry to combo skin types. Oily skin can cause the brow to not heal well and fade quickly.
2.
WILL IT HURT?
It depends on your level of pain tolerance. I put a topical numbing cream on (5% lidocaine) prior to procedure, and continue to place numbing cream on brows as needed throughout procedure to reduce pain. Things such as menstrual cycle can effect pain level.
3.
WHEN DO I GET A TOUCH UP?
Every procedure should be followed by a touch-up, and should be scheduled within 6-10 weeks of initial appointment. After this, it's recommended to get a touch up annually.
4.
WILL I BE CHARGED IF I CANCEL?
I require a 72 hour notice for a cancelation. If 72 hours is not given, a fee will be charged.
5.
HOW DO I PAY?
Deposit is required prior to procedure. You'll pay in full at the appointment. I accept cash, Venmo or card. I prefer cash. If card is used, there will be a 3% fee.
6.
WHAT IS AN OMBRE BROW?
This is where pigment is infused into the skin via a machine. This gives the appearance of a filled in brow, or as some say, a powdered look. This is a great option for people who have any skin type and like the appearance of a bolder brow.
7.
WHAT IS A COMBINATION BROW?
A combination brow is combining microblading and ombre technique.
8.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A CONSULATION?
No you don't. That being said, I offer them to anyone who would feel more comfortable having one prior to procedure. If you don't come in for a consultation, I will ask for a picture of your brows with and without makeup on, and will need to know your skin type.
